Two weeks of glorious autumn weather has given way to a damp, dark, gloomy Wednesday morning. Record rainfall has fallen in Sydney and places north in the last two days. By comparison, Canberra’s rain has been but a drop in the bucket, if you pardon the pun!
That may change today with the system to the north of here proceeding south so we may get a bit more precipitation at a heavier rate than we are copping it now.
It’s been a quiet week so far. I could never say work has been good but bearable is perhaps a more apt description. When we can just get on and do our work without silly ideas and new unworkable arrangements being thrust upon us, life becomes more of a breeze and morale improves…just a little, and the bit of calm that descends on the place makes life at “the Happiness Factory”, just a tad easier to deal with.
I’m expecting more of the same today and with a bit of luck we may get an extended break from the lunacy that pervades our working enviroment from time to time.
So, life is just cantering along at the moment, no real hassles or worries. The treadmill keeps turning and we have no alternative but to keep pace with it.
A very dull post from me today, perhaps matching the weather but I like to keep my blog up to date even if I have nothing to say that is of value or interest.
As anyone who has read my musings before may notice, there is a slight change to my blog page. I have put up a poll with a few questions that anyone is welcome to answer. It is just a bit of fun and an opportunity to interact with readers.
I hope all have a good day and who knows, I may have something more interesting to say next time.
