Checking In, Checking Out

I am just writing a quick Blog update as it has been a while and I know that my devoted readers hang on my every word and wonder where I have gotten to!

Life has been busy as it is for most of us leading into Christmas and I just don’t seem to be able to find the time to do everything I have to do. Laziness and a bad memory certainly contribute to a cluttered life and I seem to lack the necessary skills and “get up and go” which would make traversing the road to Christmas a little easier.

Unfortunately Blogging takes a low priority when all things are considered so, with just a few minutes to spare, I am updating my little space here in the internet world to let all and sundry know I am still kicking and keen to write.

Work has been hectic and hard and we have been sorting more mail than we did last year with less staff. Overtime cutbacks have caused manpower shortages to be even more acute than usual and no one upstairs seem to want to listen to reality. I am at the lowest end of the food chain so these things shouldn’t matter to me but the consequences of ignorance certainly affect me and I have had enough of being stuck on the lowest scale of the register.

I need a new career which is fired by a bit of ambition. I don’t want too much responsibility or a job where a small personality rules over me with an iron fist. Just something pleasant which isn’t too much of a strain. Do such jobs exist?

So, with 2015 beckoning and Christmas on the horizon I would like to wish all and sundry the very best for the season. I may be back with an update before Christmas Day but if not, have a great time with family and friends and thanks to those who have supported my literary efforts through the year.

 Have fun and take care.
