Friday! At last. The problem with getting to Friday is that it’s Monday again before you know it! It seems like you are only just walking out the door rejoicing at reaching the weekend then all of a sudden it is Sunday night and you are dreading going back to work the next day. I think the best thing to do is to enjoy the weekend as much as you can. I like to have a nice split between relaxtion and activity. It doesn’t always work out that way, especially in this household but I try my best to keep it that way.
Work has been okay. Apart from Monday it has been reasonbly quiet, especially the last 2 days. Didn’t mean that we got away earlier. We have the most conservative supervisor imaginable. At Australia Post they have never quite grasped how to get the best out of the workers. Surely letting us go as soon as most of the work is complete is a good way to get us to go harder. Oh no. Australia Post management don’t think that way. Consequently no one cares and a slack work attitude becomes even worse.
There is a new supervisory system starting soon and all the brown nose brigade are putting their hands up to be a part of it. Some of them are going to have a miserable life if they start trying to stand over afternoon shift. Bring it on!
